Growing up in South Florida there was never a shortage of spectacular sunrises and sunsets. With tons of sunshine almost 365 days a year, and wild thunderstorms that roll in like clock work on those hot and humid afternoons, they combine together to make dramatic and impressive skies. As a kid, I can remember day-dreaming and admiring the way light would enter and fill up a room. I have been following that light ever since. I still get lost in time watching how light can change the scenery and mood all around us and in an instant. As I got older, that passion grew. Wanting to experiment with how I could capture and manipulate light onto film became a bonafide hobby of mine. A couple other great passions were stirred up inside me at a young age, too. Both my love of travel and of music have helped me navigate my way through this thing called life. In September of 2018, I made a move up to the mountains of Western North Carolina. Well, there is definitely no shortage of beautiful vistas and scenes all around me here, too. While, admittedly, I miss the proximity of the ocean to where I currently live, getting to follow the light as it moves through the forest and over and around the mountains, I now call home, still excites and intrigues me. Getting to share my passions with the people I love and adore and with those I haven’t met yet, fills me up with joy. Hopefully, it inspires someone else to get out and see the world through their own passionate eyes.
"No man has the right to dictate what other men should perceive, create or produce, but all should be encouraged to reveal themselves, their perceptions and emotions, and to build confidence in the creative spirit." ~Ansel Adams
